Utility Operator Cascade Municipal Utilities has an immediate opening for a permanent full-time utility operator. Duties include, but are not limited to, operating aerial truck, digger derrick, trencher backhoe, and other equipment, including the construction and maintenance of electric distribution and transmission lines, mostly underground. Perform installation and maintenance of gas mains and service lines along with the necessary training and testing for gas operator qualifications. Operate and run generator sets including their maintenance and repairs. Applicant must obtain a class B CDL/air brake endorsement during probationary period. Rotating on-call schedule and attending out-of-down meetings and training as needed is required. Drug screening and background check required. Require residency within a 15-minute response time to the CMU Warehouse.
