Job Description

Jonathan Creek Water District is seeking a qualified individual to immediately fill a full-time position within our water district.
IF YOU CANNOT DO THE FOLLOWING, DO NOT APPLY!
: Applicants MUST be able to provide full time focus and dedication, perform heavylifting manual labor while getting wet & dirty in the extreme heat and cold and for 40+ hours a week. Candidates must have a good attitude, work well with others, take direction & be able to work flexible shifts, including being on-call for after hour emergencies. Class I & II Distribution & Class I-III surface water treatment is preferred but not required.
NOT CURRENTLY CERTIFIED?
We can hire candidates as Operator Trainees and help fast track their certification using college education credits & other job related experience relevant to our field. Being a Water Treatment Professional is an essential and rewarding career. We are ready to hire smart and dedicated individuals to join our team. Duties include performing daily operations and maintenance activities associated with operating the water treatment plant, line repairs, setting new taps within the distribution system, general grounds keeping, meter reading and record keeping. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license, be detail oriented, self-motivated, able to pass a pre-employment drug test & capable of lifting, standing, kneeling, bending & digging daily for long periods in all weather conditions. Experience operating heavy equipment or CDL's are a plus!
COMPENSATION
The beginning salary for these positions will be based on a combination of education, experience, and certifications.
