Role:
The Operator II plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment within the production or processing environment. This position is responsible for monitoring system performance, conducting routine inspections, and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal functionality. The Operator II collaborates closely with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions promptly. This role demands a strong focus on safety protocols and quality standards to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the Operator II contributes to the overall productivity and reliability of operations, supporting the organization's goals for efficiency and excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience operating industrial machinery or equipment in a manufacturing or processing environment. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to the equipment being operated. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operational instructions. Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in equipment operation or industrial safety. Experience with computerized control systems or PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Familiarity with quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if required. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate. Adjust machine settings and controls to optimize performance and product quality. Document operational data, incidents, and maintenance activities accurately and timely. Collaborate with maintenance and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and participate in safety training and audits. Assist in training new operators and provide guidance on best practices and operational standards.

The Operator II utilizes technical skills daily to operate and adjust complex machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
