Job Description
Ulland Brothers, Inc., is a Civil/Highway-Heavy, aggregate, paving and site development contractor with offices in Carlton, Virginia and Albert Lea, MN. Ulland Brothers has operated in the construction industry for over 100 years. We are looking for dedicated and career-minded employees. This position offers great pay and union benefits. This is a safety sensitive position that requires drug testing. Job Summary This position involves assisting the Hydrovac Operator with cleaning tanks, utility locates and hydro-excavation using high-pressure water and vacuum systems. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and have a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the Hydrovac Operator in the setup and operation of hydrovac equipment. Perform digging and excavation tasks while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment. Perform basic maintenance on hydrovac machinery. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion. Follow all safety regulations and guidelines. Perform additional assignments as requested including ongoing in person or online training Skills Hydrovac experience preferred. CDL with tank endorsement preferred. Ability to work in all-weather conditions. Ability to adapt and problem solve. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with other crews.
