Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Targa is currently seeking a Crude Operations LACT Tech for their facility located in Watford City, ND.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
LACT (Liquid Automated Custody Transfer skid) Operations, along with proper documentation and ensuring compliance. Follow company procedures/policies for all operations including LOTO-T. Maintain and operate pickup and equipment in all types of weather and road conditions. Maintain pumps and able to change out mechanical seals. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation. Starting and stopping of all LACT equipment. Maximize field compression efficiently. Assist in commissioning new systems. Assist in proving operations. Clean strainers. Sampling oil and determining basic water and sediment values. Calibrate basic sediment and water monitoring equipment. Maintenance and Inspections of all equipment in LACT's. Perform minor repairs and assist with major repairs on pumps, motors, and related equipment. Perform valve inspections and maintenance as needed. Month end grind outs to determine quality and gravity of producer oil Manage inventory at assigned sites. Assist other operators and departments as needed. Assist in hot oiling and freshwater operations in LACTS. Basic understanding of PLC's and their functions. Demonstrate good housekeeping. oAll LACTS oAll buildings oClean trucks and serviced at proper intervals Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company. Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work alone or with minimum supervision. Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office Software and application logic. Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objectives. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs. Ability to work in changing climate conditions. Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing. Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex) Regular and Reliable Attendance

Strong Mechanical Aptitude Previous Field Technician experience
