Description National Fuel is currently seeking a Station Operator for an outstanding career opportunity at our Aliquippa Field Office located in Aliquippa, PA. The work shift could also include off hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Candidates must live within a reasonable commute of the Aliquippa Office located at 972 Frankfort Rd Aliquippa, PA 15001 or be willing to relocate within 6 months of hire.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Line locating, reading meters, patrolling, and other general maintenance
- Repairs and maintains gas equipment and pipeline systems
- Operation, maintenance and routine repairs to gas compressors and natural gas power engines
- Identify and react to abnormal operating conditions in compressor and pipeline facilities
- Accurate documentation and record keeping of pressures, flows and temperatures
- Follow all operating protocols, inspection requirements, maintenance tasks, and safety procedures to ensure safe and reliable operation of facilities.
- Work outdoors in all types of weather

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Physical capability to work around hazards
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfort working around high pressure pipelines and large engines/compressors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
- Self-motivated and committed to a strong safety culture
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed and work in all weather conditions
