Stucco Worker ahph llc Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Part-time | Contract $40 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Construction safety management Construction project management Coating Supervising experience Construction industry experience Construction team management Stucco Ability to follow instructions Managing teams in a construction management role General management Full Job Description Stucco Foreman / Lead Stucco InstallerJob Overview We are seeking an experienced Stucco Foreman / Lead Stucco Installer to take responsibility for and lead the stucco work on a construction project. This is not an entry-level laborer position . We are looking for a stucco professional who can independently assess the project, determine the proper installation process, organize materials and labor, supervise a crew, and ensure the finished stucco system is installed correctly and to a high standard. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on stucco experience and is comfortable taking ownership of the project from preparation through final finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the stucco scope of the project from start to completion Inspect existing conditions and determine the appropriate installation approach Plan the sequence of work and coordinate stucco laborers/installers Determine required materials, quantities, tools, scaffolding, and equipment Prepare and verify substrates before stucco installation Install and supervise installation of weather-resistant barriers, flashing, lath/mesh, control joints, corner bead, weep screeds, and other components as required Mix and apply scratch, brown/base, and finish coats according to the specified stucco system Ensure proper thickness, curing, bonding, texture, color, and overall finish Identify potential water-intrusion, cracking, substrate, flashing, or installation issues before work proceeds Read construction drawings, specifications, and project details Coordinate with the general contractor and other trades Maintain productivity and quality standards for the stucco crew Ensure work complies with applicable building requirements and manufacturer specifications Maintain a clean and safe work area Troubleshoot and correct stucco installation problems Perform final quality-control inspections and address deficiencies Required Experience Extensive professional stucco installation experience required Previous experience as a Stucco Foreman, Lead Installer, Stucco Contractor, or equivalent Ability to lead a stucco project without constant supervision Strong knowledge of exterior stucco systems and proper installation procedures Strong understanding of moisture management, flashing, lath, reinforcement, expansion/control joints, and crack prevention Experience producing consistent professional stucco finishes and textures Ability to estimate material and labor requirements Ability to identify improper or potentially problematic installation conditions Experience supervising and directing construction workers Comfortable working from scaffolding and using standard stucco/construction equipment Strong understanding of construction-site safety Experience with EIFS, traditional three-coat stucco, one-coat systems, stucco repair/restoration, masonry, waterproofing, and exterior envelope work is an asset. What We're Looking For We want someone who can take ownership of the stucco portion of the project , not simply follow instructions. You should be able to arrive on site, evaluate what needs to be done, explain the correct process, organize the work, direct other workers, and deliver a professional finished product.
