Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and coatings to a variety of surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable finishes that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling holes or cracks to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primers, paints, stains, and sealants using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, or other power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting projects. Perform specialized tasks such as plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and masonry work as needed. Assist with renovation projects by handling demolition, framing, drywall installation, and fixture installation. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols on construction sites and properly handling hand tools and power tools. Conduct touch-ups and restoration work to ensure high-quality finishes that meet client expectations. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or industrial painting with a strong understanding of color theory. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential. Hands-on experience with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, caulking guns, and power tools including airless sprayers and welding equipment. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with renovation techniques is highly desirable. Skilled in plastering, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, concrete finishing, and masonry tasks. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments. Additional handyman skills such as fixture installation and maintenance are a plus. Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently when needed.
