Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Precast Erector and play a vital role in assembling, installing, and securing precast concrete components on various construction sites. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a skilled crew, utilizing your technical expertise and physical strength to bring architectural visions to life. As a precast erector, you will ensure the safe and precise installation of precast concrete elements, contributing to high-quality building projects that stand the test of time. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency drive every project forward. Duties Safely assemble and install precast concrete panels, beams, and other structural elements according to schematics and blueprints Use hand tools and power tools to lift, position, and secure precast components with precision Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure accurate placement Coordinate with crane operators and heavy equipment operators for efficient lifting and positioning of large precast elements Perform rebar installation and concrete forming tasks as needed to prepare components for erection Conduct inspections during installation to verify alignment, levelness, and structural integrity Assist with site preparation activities such as heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and material handling Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work, especially with precast concrete or related fields such as masonry or carpentry Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and construction techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and caulking techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and scaffolding setup Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights in various weather conditions Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites including OSHA standards Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience operating heavy machinery is a plus Join us in building durable structures while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment!
