In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring they meet our high standards of craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using various hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and spray guns. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting plans on different surfaces. Perform specialized tasks including plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and drywall finishing to achieve smooth surfaces. Conduct renovation work on existing structures by restoring paint layers or updating finishes in accordance with project specifications. Utilize construction estimating skills to determine material needs and project timelines effectively. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution on construction sites. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, and industrial coating applications. Proficiency with hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, brushes, rollers, and caulking guns; familiarity with power tools including sanders and spray equipment. Strong knowledge of color theory to select appropriate hues and finishes for various surfaces. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. Experience with plastering, stucco work, masonry finishing, drywall repair, and restoration projects. Skilled in the use of scaffolding, ladders, and other access equipment safely at construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements and estimating material quantities; knowledge of schematics is a plus. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety protocols in diverse environments.
