Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painting Subcontractor to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications. Execute various types of painting including residential, commercial, industrial, restoration, and construction painting projects Perform related tasks such as fixture installation, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, and basic drywall repairs as needed. Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for timely completion Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials safely. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with a strong background in residential and commercial projects. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools (including scaffolding), and equipment such as airless sprayers. Knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Experience with plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry, welding, concrete finishing, and restoration work is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations accurately. Construction site experience with safety awareness and adherence to protocols.
