Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Masonry Worker and bring craftsmanship and precision to a variety of building projects. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using a wide range of masonry techniques. Your expertise will help shape durable, aesthetically pleasing surfaces and structures that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of masonry work Mix, apply, and finish concrete, mortar, plaster, stucco, and other building materials with precision using hand tools and power tools Install rebar and metal supports for reinforced concrete structures following safety protocols and technical specifications Build stone masonry walls, bricklaying structures, and hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Construct formwork for concrete pouring and ensure proper alignment using scaffolding and framing techniques Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning materials during restoration or new construction projects Adhere strictly to safety protocols on-site while managing multiple tasks including roofing, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, and metal stud framing Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans accurately and execute tasks efficiently in renovation or new build settings Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring compliance with all safety standards Experience Proven masonry experience with a strong background in concrete masonry work including bricklaying, stone masonry, and stucco application Skilled in construction estimating, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprint specifications Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, mortar work, plastering, tile laying, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, restoration projects, and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with building material installation such as metal studs for framing or specialized finishes like stucco or decorative stonework Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction sites including scaffold building and welding when necessary Ability to interpret construction plans accurately while coordinating multiple tasks on-site in diverse environments including renovation projects or new constructions Strong understanding of construction site procedures with experience working alongside carpenters, roofers, drywall installers or other trades involved in comprehensive building projects This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to advance their masonry skills within a collaborative team dedicated to quality craftsmanship.
