Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply high-quality paint finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools for efficient coverage Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Execute various painting techniques including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and restoration projects Perform surface repairs such as masonry work, stucco application, drywall finishing, and fixture installation to achieve seamless results Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools like hand tools, scaffolding, frame carpentry equipment, and masonry supplies while adhering to safety standards on construction sites Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving carpentry (trim carpentry, framing), masonry (concrete finishing), welding, and maintenance tasks Conduct quality inspections throughout the project to ensure finishes meet client expectations and industry standards Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings with a solid understanding of construction site protocols Skilled in reading blueprints and schematics with an understanding of schematics related to fixture installation and renovation plans Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and airless paint spraying equipment Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate paints and finishes that enhance aesthetic appeal Familiarity with plastering, stucco application, caulking techniques, drywall finishing, masonry work, and restoration processes Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately Prior experience in construction estimating or working on remodeling projects is highly desirable Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments Join us as a Painter where your craftsmanship will make a lasting impact!
