In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope and surface specifications. Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Perform specialized tasks including stucco application, masonry finishing, drywall repair, fixture installation, and restoration work. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess materials needed for each project accurately. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout the job process. Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Hands-on knowledge of various hand tools and power tools used in surface preparation and finishing. Experience with renovation projects involving plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, framing, masonry, or remodeling is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills.
