Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Foreman, Landscape Hardscape, to lead and oversee the installation of high-quality hardscape features within residential, commercial, and public landscape projects. This role is vital in ensuring that all aspects of hardscape construction—including paving, masonry, concrete finishing, and fabrication—are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and uphold safety protocols while delivering exceptional results that transform outdoor spaces into functional works of art. Duties Lead and supervise hardscape installation teams to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Coordinate daily activities on-site, including the use of power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication processes. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings related to masonry, concrete forming, tile laying, and other hardscape elements. Oversee construction inspection processes to verify compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and building codes. Manage material procurement and inventory for concrete forming materials, masonry supplies, glass installation components, and other necessary resources. Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols; conduct regular site inspections for hazards related to plumbing, electrical systems, or structural integrity. Collaborate with project managers to develop construction estimates and schedules; assist with remodeling or restoration tasks as needed. Utilize Bluebeam software for plan review and documentation; facilitate effective communication among team members through schematics and detailed drawings. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site management with a focus on hardscape projects such as masonry, concrete finishing, tile laying, or similar disciplines. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Skilled in operating power tools—including saws, drills—and heavy equipment such as compactors or mini-excavators. Familiarity with construction inspection procedures ensuring quality control across various trades like carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing (membrane or tile), plastering (stucco), welding (metal fabrication), and flooring installation. Hands-on experience with concrete forming techniques and masonry work; ability to oversee concrete finishing processes. Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems relevant to landscape hardscape installations is a plus. Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety standards; excellent communication skills are essential. Certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred; familiarity with Bluebeam software is highly desirable. Join us in creating stunning outdoor environments!
