Plasterer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Plasterer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster, stucco, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, transforming raw structures into polished, durable spaces. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, including renovations, restorations, and new construction, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal plaster adhesion Mix plaster, stucco, or other materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired consistency Apply plaster or stucco using trowels, hawks, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail Install metal lath or wire mesh for reinforcement in exterior insulation systems or decorative finishes Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project specifications and ensure proper application techniques Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing and polishing surfaces for a flawless appearance Assist with framing, metal stud framing, or carpentry tasks as needed during renovation projects Operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material transportation Install rebar for structural reinforcement in concrete forms or masonry work Execute caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, and roofing tasks to support comprehensive construction efforts Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment efficiently while maintaining safety protocols Collaborate with team members on schematics interpretation and project planning for seamless execution Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on plastering or related trades such as masonry or restoration Strong knowledge of concrete forming, concrete finishing, stucco application, and heavy equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to plastering, carpentry, roofing, and tile laying Familiarity with rebar installation, metal stud framing, welding, caulking, and trim carpentry techniques Experience working on renovation projects or historic restoration is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely Join us as a in our dedicated construction team!
