Masonry Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that bring architectural visions to life, from laying bricks and blocks to installing intricate stonework. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of durable, aesthetically pleasing structures and renovations. Responsibilities Construct, repair, and restore walls, facades, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other materials with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects Mix and pour concrete, form concrete structures, and perform finishing work such as smoothing surfaces and applying sealants or coatings Install rebar reinforcement within concrete forms for added strength and durability Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites Execute specialized tasks including stucco application, tile laying, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing support, and restoration work Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to meet project specifications and deadlines while maintaining safety standards Experience Proven experience in construction or masonry work with a strong understanding of construction site protocols Skilled in concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings Hands-on experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, welding, tile laying, and stucco application preferred Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, mixers, as well as heavy equipment used in construction environments Knowledge of renovation projects including restoration of historic structures or modern updates is advantageous Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards or local safety regulations is essential Join us if you're passionate about building lasting structures while honing your craftsmanship!
