Duties Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to accurately execute remodeling and renovation projects. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to install building materials such as drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, trim carpentry, and masonry components. Perform window installation, door fitting, caulking, plastering, concrete forming, and masonry work with precision. Conduct plumbing and electrical work where necessary to support remodeling projects while adhering to safety protocols. Manage hardscaping construction projects including hardscape installation, outdoor hardscape features, and landscaping elements like patios or walkways. Inspect work sites regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications; make adjustments as needed for quality assurance. Collaborate with project managers by providing accurate construction estimating data and updating progress on construction management software such as Bluebeam. Operate heavy equipment safely during site preparation or material transportation tasks. Fabricate custom components or modifications on-site to meet project-specific requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure all safety procedures are followed diligently during all phases of construction. Skills Extensive construction experience with a focus on residential and commercial remodeling projects. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Strong knowledge of building materials installation including drywall, flooring, tile laying, cabinetry installation, masonry, and trim carpentry. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, plastering tools, concrete forms, and fabrication equipment. Experience with plumbing systems and electrical wiring relevant to remodeling tasks. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in outdoor work environments. Familiarity with construction management software such as Bluebeam for project documentation and collaboration. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and adapt to unforeseen challenges on-site.
