In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other landscape structures. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional and beautiful environments that meet our clients' visions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in construction and masonry, and contribute to creating lasting outdoor masterpieces. Pay can change drastically and fast as experience is shown. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise installation of hardscape features Prepare sites by grading, excavating, and setting forms for concrete or stone installation Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to move materials and execute complex installations Lay pavers, bricks, stone, concrete slabs, and other materials with accuracy and craftsmanship Install retaining walls, steps, patios, fire pits, and other landscape structures using appropriate techniques such as concrete forming and masonry Perform finishing tasks including caulking, sealing, trimming, and surface leveling to ensure quality results Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project specifications are met on time and within scope Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape or masonry projects Skilled in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and construction estimating processes Proficient with hand tools (e.g., chisels, trowels) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) used in masonry and landscaping tasks Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, and fabrication processes Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as skid steers or mini excavators is a plus Ability to read technical schematics related to plumbing or electrical systems when necessary for integrated landscape features Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Preferred skills include experience with Bluebeam software for digital plan review; expertise in construction management; knowledge of restoration techniques; and familiarity with roofing or framing carpentry.
