Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Masonry professional to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry work, including experience with various materials and techniques. This role involves working on construction sites to build, repair, and restore structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. The Masonry professional will collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Duties Construct walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, stones, and concrete blocks. Perform restoration work on existing masonry structures to maintain their integrity and appearance. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for various tasks. Install metal stud framing for walls and ceilings in commercial and residential projects. Lay tiles for flooring and walls, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Execute trim carpentry tasks to finish edges and enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Apply stucco to surfaces as required for both functional and decorative purposes. Collaborate with carpenters, laborers, and other trades on-site to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in masonry work with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Skills in welding are a plus for certain masonry applications. Experience in metal stud framing is advantageous for structural projects. Background in tile laying and trim carpentry is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to construction projects. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
