Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Masonry Worker to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that contribute to the durability and aesthetic appeal of building projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new constructions to restoration and renovation jobs, utilizing your technical skills and passion for masonry. Duties Construct and install brick, stone, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to project specifications and blueprints Mix mortar, grout, and concrete accurately to ensure proper bonding and finish quality Read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements precisely Install rebar (reinforcing steel bars) for structural support in concrete forms and other masonry structures Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and power tools including drills and saws to perform various tasks efficiently Perform concrete finishing techniques like smoothing, leveling, and sealing surfaces for a polished look Execute specialty tasks such as stucco application, plastering, caulking, tile laying, and trim carpentry as needed for renovation or restoration projects Requirements Proven experience in construction with a focus on masonry work on active construction sites Strong knowledge of concrete forming techniques and construction estimating processes Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in rebar installation, heavy equipment operation, and the use of power tools and hand tools Familiarity with various masonry materials including brick, stone, stucco, tile, and concrete finishes Experience in renovation projects involving framing carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, or restoration work is highly desirable Valid knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites and heavy equipment operation Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing complex masonry tasks Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your expertise to dynamic construction projects.
