Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and diagnostics, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will utilize their expertise in automotive systems, including powertrain and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical problems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to troubleshoot issues accurately. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Align wheels and adjust suspensions as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with service advisors to provide estimates for repairs and services. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Skills Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to automotive systems. Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in automotive repair. Knowledge of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive service procedures and best practices. Ability to perform auto estimating for repair costs effectively. Familiarity with powertrain components and their functions. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in diagnostics. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
