In this energetic role, you will be responsible for transforming surfaces through expert painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing touches. Duties Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Execute a wide range of painting tasks including residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, and restoration projects using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying, and conventional spray equipment Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction schematics to accurately execute projects according to specifications Apply construction estimating principles to determine material needs and project timelines effectively Use knowledge of color theory and visual color comparison techniques to select appropriate colors and achieve desired aesthetic effects Perform surface preparation tasks such as masonry work (stucco), framing (trim carpentry), concrete finishing, masonry repairs, and fixture installation as needed for comprehensive project completion Follow safety regulations diligently by utilizing respiratory protection, proper fall protection measures, and adhering to all workplace safety standards during construction site activities Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving remodeling, carpentry (frame and trim), plastering, welding, and handyman tasks to ensure seamless project execution Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste materials and ensuring all tools are stored safely after use Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and finishing methods Familiarity with construction site procedures including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing comprehension Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders; power tools including drills and airless sprayers; welding equipment; and masonry tools Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection protocols and hazard awareness Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and estimations accurately Experience with renovation projects involving plastering, caulking, stucco application, fixture installation, framing carpentry or masonry is preferred Strong attention to detail with an eye for color matching through visual comparison techniques Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret schematics or blueprints for precise execution Valid construction site experience demonstrating adherence to safety standards and quality workmanship Join us in creating inspiring spaces through expert craftsmanship!
