Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Painter Helper and play a vital role in transforming spaces! This energetic position offers the opportunity to assist experienced painters in preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Duties Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Support the application of paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, conventional spray guns, or airless paint sprayers Help interpret technical drawings and schematics to understand project specifications and color schemes Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, masking areas, and organizing hand tools and materials for efficient workflow Maintain safety standards by using appropriate respiratory protection, adhering to safety regulations, and keeping work areas clean and hazard-free Assist with restoration projects involving plastering, stucco application, masonry work, or renovation tasks as needed Support the installation of fixtures and trim carpentry components to ensure a polished final appearance Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in renovation projects is highly desirable Familiarity with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading enhances your ability to contribute effectively Knowledge of color theory and visual color comparison techniques helps achieve precise color matching Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, welding, or concrete finishing is a plus Understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting and industrial work environments is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your contributions directly impact the transformation of spaces!
