Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction / Masonry Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry and construction tasks that contribute to the successful completion of building projects. Your expertise will help ensure that structures are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new constructions to renovations and restorations, utilizing your masonry craftsmanship and construction knowledge. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry and building tasks. Perform rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work with precision and attention to detail. Lay bricks, stones, tiles, and other building materials according to specifications while maintaining safety protocols. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and effectively on construction sites. Install building materials such as metal studs, framing components, plastering layers, caulking, and mortar for various structures. Conduct concrete finishing activities including pouring, smoothing, and sealing to achieve desired surface quality. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure adherence to project timelines and safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in concrete masonry work, bricklaying, stone masonry, or related construction fields. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction estimating. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, tile laying, and mortar work. Familiarity with building code requirements and safety protocols on construction sites. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, heavy machinery, and scaffolding confidently. Experience in renovation or restoration projects is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship. Pay:
$26.05 - $31.37 per hour
