Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Home Remodeling Assistant and be a vital part of transforming living spaces into beautiful, functional homes! In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople and project managers by assisting with various remodeling tasks, ensuring projects stay on track and meet high-quality standards. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will help drive successful renovations from start to finish. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to impactful home improvement projects. Duties Assist with the installation of cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other interior finishes using hand tools and power tools Support framing, drywall installation, plastering, and stucco application to prepare surfaces for finishing Help with roofing, concrete finishing, masonry work, and heavy equipment operation as needed on-site Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, protecting areas with caulking or masking materials, and organizing materials Support demolition and restoration activities by removing old fixtures or materials safely and efficiently Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks such as glass installation, trim carpentry, or custom framing projects Requirements Prior experience in construction or remodeling projects is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction safety protocols Ability to operate heavy equipment or perform specialized tasks such as concrete forming or masonry is a plus Basic electrical or plumbing experience is advantageous but not mandatory Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and safety standards Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment Embark on a rewarding career journey where your skills grow daily!
