Job Description
Overview Join our team of high performers as a Journeyman Plumber, where your expertise will be leveraged in delivering high-quality plumbing solutions across a variety of residential and light commercial projects. As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems in accordance with project requirements. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, piping, and related components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate plumbing activities within larger building projects, ensuring seamless integration with electrical, carpentry, roofing, and other trades. Conduct construction inspections to verify proper installation of plumbing systems and ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes. Assist with remodeling projects by installing new fixtures or upgrading existing systems while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Adhere strictly to safety protocols on-site to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment for all team members. Experience Proven plumbing experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance across multiple construction projects. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings such as schematics, blueprints, and construction plans related to plumbing systems. Familiarity with building materials installation including caulking, stucco, masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, concrete forming, roofing, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, painting, concrete finishing, welding, fabrication and restoration work. Hands-on experience operating power tools and heavy equipment safely in outdoor or confined spaces. Ability to perform construction inspection tasks accurately while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation to facilitate precise installations. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail on complex projects involving framing carpentry or hardscape work.
