We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet all safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your technical skills and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction, remodeling, and restoration projects. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise installations. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate plumbing work within project timelines and budgets. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication tools safely to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Assist with other related tasks such as caulking, stucco application, roofing support, tile laying, or masonry work as needed on construction sites. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures throughout each project phase. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with comprehensive knowledge of plumbing installation and repair techniques. Strong understanding of construction management principles, estimating processes, and inspection standards. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation relevant to plumbing tasks. Experience working on construction projects or similar outdoor work environments. Knowledge of building materials installation including caulking, plastering, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, roofing support, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, painting prep work, concrete finishing, and restoration techniques. Familiarity with electrical experience or electrical schematics is a plus. Commitment to safety protocol adherence at all times during construction activities. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interpreting technical instructions effectively.
