Job Summary:
We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and able to work independently while delivering high‑quality workmanship and professional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water, gas, drainage, and sewer lines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building specifications Troubleshoot plumbing issues and determine effective repair solutions Perform inspections, pressure testing, and preventative maintenance Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, valves, and piping systems Ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers Accurately document work performed and materials used Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if assigned)
Required Qualifications:
Valid Journeyman Plumber License in Alabama 3+ years of plumbing experience post‑apprenticeship Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and codes Experience with copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and steel piping Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage job tasks efficiently Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
Commercial or industrial plumbing experience Backflow prevention certification Gas piping experience Experience with boilers, pumps, or hydronic systems Lead or supervisory experience
