In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. Your expertise will help bring projects to life efficiently and safely, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship on every job. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial remodels to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver exceptional results. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of plumbing systems Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols Execute remodeling, maintenance, and field service tasks to upgrade or repair existing plumbing infrastructure Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC technicians to coordinate project workflows Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including schematics and technical reports Experience Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in commercial or industrial projects Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings with precision Hands-on experience with pipe threading, welding, pipe fitting, and assembly techniques Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols Knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics, and general mechanical principles is a plus Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience driving construction vehicles is advantageous Prior handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects enhances versatility in this role
