Plumber Location:

Montgomery, AL /

Tuskegee, AL Pay Rate:

$23.17/hour We are hiring qualified Plumbers to support maintenance and repair operations across two VA medical campuses. This full-time role includes plumbing installation, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting in an active healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

Test joints and piping for leaks. Install and repair valves and plumbing system components. Inspect and test piping after repairs, alterations, or additions. Check piping, fittings, and fixtures for defective parts or connections. Disassemble and repair damaged sections or fabricate replacements. Repair toilets, sinks, and related plumbing fixtures using hand and power tools common to the trade.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of documented plumbing experience required. Ability to work in confined spaces, noisy areas, high-heat conditions, and physically demanding environments. Must provide basic hand tools and comply with OSHA, respirator, and PPE requirements as applicable. Security screening and VA badge approval required before start.
