Job Description
Skillforce is hiring licensed Commercial Journeyman Plumbers for projects throughout Little Rock, Jonesboro, and Rogers, Arkansas. Qualified candidates must have commercial plumbing experience and an active plumbing license.
Locations:
Little Rock, Jonesboro, and Rogers, Arkansas Pay:
$36-$43, depending on experience plus $120 per diem
• Commercial Scope of Work Install commercial water-supply and distribution systems. Install drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems. Perform underground plumbing installation and layout. Complete rough-in, top-out, trim-out, and fixture installation. Install copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and cast-iron piping. Install toilets, urinals, sinks, water heaters, floor drains, and other commercial fixtures. Measure, cut, thread, solder, braze, and assemble piping. Install valves, pumps, backflow preventers, grease traps, and related equipment. Read and interpret commercial blueprints, specifications, and isometric drawings. Perform pressure testing and inspect systems for leaks. Diagnose and repair plumbing-system issues. Follow applicable plumbing codes, OSHA regulations, and jobsite safety requirements. Coordinate work with general contractors and other trades. Journeyman Plumber Requirements Active Arkansas Journeyman Plumber license. At least five years of commercial plumbing experience preferred. Ability to work independently and complete installations according to code. Strong blueprint-reading, layout, troubleshooting, and installation skills. Ability to direct or assist apprentice plumbers when needed. Must provide standard plumbing tools and required PPE. Additional Requirements Valid driver s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated surfaces. Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred. Must maintain dependable attendance and follow all safety procedures. Why Join Us? Competitive pay based on experience.
