Journeyman Plumber

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
• Use power tools and equipment to cut, assemble, and install pipes and fittings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Thread pipes using pipe threading machines
• Perform basic math calculations to measure, cut, and install pipes accurately
• Follow schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot plumbing issues
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians for remodeling or new construction projects
• Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber with significant commercial experience
• Proficient in using power tools for plumbing installations and repairs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
• Experience in pipe threading using threading machines
• Strong knowledge of basic math calculations for measuring, cutting, and installing pipes
• Familiarity with schematics and diagrams for troubleshooting plumbing issues
• Experience in collaborating with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians for remodeling or new construction projects
