Commercial Plumber (Journeyman)

Journeyman Commercial Plumber Iron Horse Companies LLC - Greater Phoenix Area Position Overview Iron Horse Companies LLC is seeking an experienced Journeyman Commercial Plumber with 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience to join our team. We specialize in commercial construction, tenant improvements, remodels, hotels, assisted living facilities, and student housing projects . The Journeyman Plumber will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and leading plumbing work on commercial construction projects while mentoring apprentices and maintaining high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Install and lay out cast iron, PVC, and ABS sewer, vent, and roof drain piping Install copper, CPVC, and PEX water distribution systems Thread and install steel gas piping Assemble, install, and start up plumbing fixtures and equipment Accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local plumbing codes Coordinate work with foremen, apprentices, and other trades Train and mentor apprentices and helpers Maintain a clean and organized job site Deliver professional customer service on-site Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies Qualifications Minimum 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience Journeyman license preferred Experience in commercial new construction and tenant improvement projects Experience in hotels, assisted living, student housing, or large commercial buildings is a plus High school diploma or GED Strong blueprint reading and layout skills Ability to work independently and lead small crews Reliable transportation Required Tools Basic hand tools (wrenches, pliers, pipe cutters, screwdrivers, hammers) Cordless drill and impact driver Sawzall Pipe wrenches and torque wrench Allen wrench set Acetylene torch regulator, hose, and tip What We Offer Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Continuous training and career advancement opportunities Company events (Holiday parties, BBQs, team gatherings) Opportunities for travel with potential expense reimbursement Iron Horse Companies LLC maintains a drug-free workplace , and all employees are subject to pre-employment and ongoing drug testing .
