Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drain Tech to join our dynamic construction and plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing infrastructure functions efficiently and safely, supporting the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain drainage pipes, fittings, and related plumbing components on commercial and residential construction sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support installation tasks Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and assemble piping systems with precision Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing work within project timelines Perform remodeling tasks related to drainage systems and assist in site cleanup and organization Position Overview The Company is seeking a high-performing Drain Technician who takes pride in solving problems, moving fast, and delivering elite customer service. This role is built for technicians who specialize in drain cleaning, diagnostics, and system restoration and who want a clear path toward leadership and Field Supervisor advancement. We are not looking for average technicians. We are building future leaders. If you understand drains, can control jobs confidently, communicate with customers, and execute at a high level, this position is designed to grow you into supervision and operational leadership. Primary Responsibilities Drain & Service Expertise Diagnose and resolve residential and commercial drain and sewer issues Perform drain cleaning using snakes, hydro-jetting, and specialty equipment Operate sewer cameras to inspect, locate, and document system conditions Identify root causes — not just temporary fixes Recommend proper repair or replacement solutions Prevent callbacks through accurate diagnosis and execution Maintain flow restoration and system performance standards Job Ownership & Performance Take full ownership of assigned service calls from arrival to completion Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and customers Maintain professional appearance and brand representation at all times Complete service documentation, photos, and control sheets daily Manage time efficiently while maximizing job performance Leadership Development Path Assist apprentices and junior technicians on jobs Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and jobsite control Help maintain company safety and operational standards Train toward Lead Technician / Field Supervisor responsibilities Participate in leadership and performance development programs ⸻ What Success Looks Like Strong drain diagnostic skills High job completion rate Minimal callbacks Positive customer experience Team leadership mindset Readiness to step into Supervisor role ⸻ Growth Opportunity Top performers will advance into: Lead Drain Technician Field Supervisor Operations Leadership Roles ⸻ Ideal Candidate Experienced in drain cleaning & sewer diagnostics Comfortable running cameras and hydro-jetters Solution-oriented mindset Strong communication skills Reliable, disciplined, and coachable Wants long-term career growth, not just a job ⸻ Why Join the company Elite earning potential Clear advancement pathway High-performance culture Consistent call volume Leadership development Opportunity to grow into management
