Service Technician - Plumbing Flow Masters Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Service Plumbing Technician to join our growing team. Position Summary The Service Plumbing Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, communicates well with customers, and can work independently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective repair solutions. Perform repairs, replacements, and installations of plumbing fixtures, water heaters, drains, sewer lines, and water supply systems. Troubleshoot plumbing systems accurately and efficiently. Clearly explain findings and repair options to customers. Prepare accurate estimates and complete work orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work vehicle. Follow all company safety procedures and California plumbing codes. Document completed work with photos and detailed service notes. Participate in training and team meetings. Represent Flow Masters Plumbing professionally at every customer interaction. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of residential plumbing service experience (preferred). Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience with water heaters, drain cleaning, leak detection, fixture installation, and general plumbing repairs. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift to 40 pounds and work in crawl spaces, attics, and confined areas. Ability to use smartphones and field service software (Service Titan experience is a plus). Be able to send invoices and collect from customers from job site Preferred Skills Tankless water heater experience. Sewer camera inspection experience. Hydro jetting experience. Water filtration and treatment installation. Gas piping experience. Backflow certification (preferred but not required). Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Performance bonuses.
