Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to project specifications and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, threading pipes, welding, and assembling plumbing components. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and implement timely repairs or upgrades. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability and future reference. Skills Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and standards. Experience with welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment used in plumbing installation. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general construction site operations. Ability to perform remodeling tasks and handyman repairs as needed. Excellent basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety practices and heavy lifting procedures.
