Key Responsibilities:
RME Compliance :
Act as the qualifying individual for the company's C-36 license, ensuring all operations meet California building codes and CSLB standards
Statewide Travel :
Travel frequently and extensively to various job sites across Northern and Southern California to execute projects
Job Costing & Quoting :
Evaluate on-site blueprints or physical spaces, calculate material and labor costs, and deliver precise, professional project estimates to clients
Water Heater Installation :
Lead the physical installation, venting, and commissioning of complex hot water systems, including tankless, commercial-grade, and high-efficiency units
System Diagnostics & Repair :
Troubleshoot complex piping, gas line, and electrical connection issues related to water heating systems
Client Relations :
Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, explaining project scopes, timelines, and post-installation maintenance
Required Qualifications:
Experience :
Minimum of 10 consecutive years of professional plumbing experience, with a heavy emphasis on water heater technologies
Licensure :
Active, unrestricted California C-36 Plumbing License in good standing, eligible to be registered as an
RME Mobility :
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record and a willingness to travel overnight or weekly as project loads dictate
Technical Expertise :
Mastery of copper soldering, PEX piping, gas line sizing, venting calculations, and electrical configurations for water heaters
Soft Skills :
Strong mathematical skills for precise quoting, excellent verbal communication, and autonomous time-management abilities
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
