In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial remodels to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, thread, assemble, and install piping systems efficiently. Perform welding and pipe threading tasks to ensure secure connections in complex plumbing setups. Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes during remodeling or new builds. Conduct inspections of plumbing work for quality assurance and compliance with safety standards. Heavy lifting of materials and equipment is required to support installation activities on-site. Skills Strong background in construction plumbing with experience reading blueprints and schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading techniques. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and general plumbing principles. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Experience with remodeling projects, assembly work, and handyman tasks is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment as needed.
