In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all plumbing work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and maintenance, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver top-quality results. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure and efficient piping systems. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems on construction sites or during maintenance visits to identify issues proactively. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project workflows. Use basic math skills to measure materials accurately, calculate pipe lengths, and determine flow rates. Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work while adhering to safety protocols. Assist in remodeling projects by performing plumbing upgrades or modifications as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspection reports for compliance purposes. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Experience Proven field service experience as a Journeyman Plumber or in a similar construction plumbing role. Extensive knowledge of construction plumbing techniques including pipe threading, welding, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems and general mechanical knowledge is highly desirable. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment. Experience working on commercial construction sites or remodeling projects is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on precision work. Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and basic math calculations related to plumbing installations. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience is a plus; willingness to travel between job sites is required. Handyman experience or background in maintenance roles will be considered an asset for versatile project support.
