Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Plumber to oversee and execute complex plumbing projects across commercial, residential, and industrial sites. As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate plumbing operations, mentor junior staff, and ensure all work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications. Your expertise in construction plumbing, mechanical systems, and site management will drive project success from start to finish. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead skilled tradespeople while delivering high-quality plumbing solutions that make a real difference. Duties Lead and supervise plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance activities on construction sites or service locations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute plumbing systems accurately. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects within scope and budget. Perform construction estimating for plumbing components, materials, and labor to support project planning. Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding gear, and other mechanical tools to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards. Provide mentorship and training to apprentice plumbers and junior team members to enhance their skills. Skills Extensive experience in construction plumbing, including pipe installation, fitting, soldering, welding, and schematics interpretation. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical components, and remodeling or maintenance projects. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; familiarity with construction estimating is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other relevant mechanical tools. Solid understanding of construction site safety practices and OSHA regulations. Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems in commercial or industrial settings. Experience with field service work involving troubleshooting and repairs on-site. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry or handyman experience is advantageous. Valid commercial driver's license for site access or material transport; familiarity with schematics related to HVAC or mechanical systems is beneficial.
