This role is responsible for installing, assembling, and routing process piping and plumbing for wet bench stations, chemical delivery systems, and related semiconductor equipment. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering drawings and P&IDs, cutting and fitting pipes, performing leak checks, and ensuring proper connections for chemical, DI water, and drain lines. The technician will troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, perform routine maintenance on wet process equipment, and document work performed in accordance with safety and quality standards. Collaboration with engineering, production, and service teams, as well as occasional customer interaction during installation and startup, is an important part of the position. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in plumbing, including installation, routing, and connection of process lines for industrial or high-purity systems. Candidates should possess skills related to pipes and fittings, such as cutting, threading, joining, and testing various pipe materials (e.g., PVC, PVDF, stainless steel). Candidates should possess skills in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions on wet process and plumbing systems. Candidates should possess general maintenance skills, including use of hand and power tools, adherence to safety procedures, and accurate documentation of work performed. Relevant experience in semiconductor, wet process, or industrial equipment environments is beneficial. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training in plumbing or mechanical systems is a plus. Ability to lift moderately heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work safely with chemicals and cleanroom protocols as needed.

Pay:

$25.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
