Job Summary:
Seeking responsible, reliable individuals to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues, installing and maintaining plumbing systems, and providing excellent customer service. Plumbers helpers/apprentices will work as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in all areas of work including but not limited to the following: Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and broken pipes and fixtures Install and maintain plumbing systems, including but not limited to fixtures, toilets, garbage disposals, pipes, shower valves & water heaters Ensure proper tools and material are ready and available for each job Work as part of a team to complete projects in a timely manner Adhere to safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
3-5 years prior plumbing experience for drain line clearing and repairs Valid driver's license and
CLEAN RECORD
; reliable transportation Possess and be proficient in the use of hand tools Willingness to learn and take direction Excellent problem-solving skills Highly motivated, responsible, and reliable Ability to work as part of a team Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces
Benefits:
Competitive salary based on experience Health insurance after 6 months (50% company paid premium) Unpaid personal days 5 days/week (may include Saturdays, Sundays and/or holidays)
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces. The job may require standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods of time. Must also be able to work in various weather conditions.
