Job Description
Mike Testa Plumbing is an established North Bay plumbing company looking for an experienced, dependable Service Plumber to join our team. This position focuses on residential plumbing service, repair, maintenance, sewer and drain clearing, and water heater installation and repair. We are looking for an experienced plumber who can confidently work independently in customers' homes, diagnose plumbing problems, explain repair options, and complete quality repairs efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate has a strong general service plumbing background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and takes pride in both quality workmanship and customer service. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair common residential plumbing problems Perform general residential plumbing service, maintenance, and repairs Repair and replace faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, valves, fixtures, and other plumbing components Diagnose and repair water leaks, drainage problems, and plumbing system issues Perform sewer and drain clearing using appropriate drain-cleaning equipment Diagnose sewer and drain problems and recommend appropriate solutions Install, replace, troubleshoot, and repair water heaters Perform basic water, waste, vent, and gas piping repairs Troubleshoot water pressure, hot-water, drainage, and other residential plumbing issues Identify additional plumbing problems or maintenance needs during service calls Clearly explain findings, recommendations, and repair options to homeowners Provide professional and respectful service while working in customers' homes Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company service vehicle Accurately document service calls, job notes, photos, estimates, invoices, and completed work Use app-based dispatch and service-management software for scheduling, customer information, estimates, invoices, job documentation, and communication with the office Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, customers, and other team members Required Qualifications Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and app-based dispatch/service-management software Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience
