The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues effectively. The Plumber will work on various projects, including residential and commercial installations, ensuring all work complies with local codes and regulations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform plumbing tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality. Weld pipes as needed for specific installations or repairs. Assist in remodeling projects that require plumbing modifications or upgrades. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience at least 5 years as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing systems. Familiarity with local plumbing codes and regulations is essential. Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials to job sites. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on larger projects.
