Company Overview Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Torrance is a family owned Mr. Rooter Franchise that has been operating out of the South Bay since 1998. We specialize in both new construction and residential service. Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems within our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that water systems and plumbing infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all local building codes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from construction plumbing to remodeling, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and waste disposal in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings Conduct plumbing inspections using cameras and other diagnostic tools to identify issues and ensure system integrity Operate company vehicles and power tools safely on construction sites and within facilities Perform drain cleaning, pipe threading, and heavy lifting tasks required for system repairs or new installations Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute construction plumbing projects accurately Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and specifications Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally during service calls or inspections Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing systems in residential or commercial settings Valid journeyman plumber certification or equivalent experience as a licensed plumber Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading equipment, and other mechanical tools Knowledge of local building codes, plumbing regulations, and safety standards Experience with construction site work, blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and remodeling projects Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly Strong mechanical knowledge related to water systems, plumbing maintenance, repair procedures, and troubleshooting techniques Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude at all times Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly Join our team as a Journeyman Plumber and bring your expertise to a dynamic environment where your skills make a real difference!
