Duties Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and commercial properties Support the reading and interpretation of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Operate hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively under supervision Help with welding, pipe fitting, and assembly tasks necessary for plumbing systems installation Participate in remodeling, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) projects, and general maintenance tasks to broaden your mechanical knowledge Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members on site to complete projects efficiently and accurately Skills Basic understanding of construction practices and construction plumbing techniques Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machinery Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems, carpentry, and general maintenance procedures Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and material estimations Field service experience or handyman skills are advantageous for versatile project support Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment This paid apprenticeship is designed to equip you with essential skills for a successful career in plumbing.
