Plumbing Service Technician

The Plumbing Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Technicians serve as the face of Elite Plumbing and are expected to provide outstanding customer service while delivering high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems Perform plumbing service calls, maintenance, and installations Troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend solutions Communicate clearly and professionally with customers Complete all invoices, work orders, and documentation accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked service vehicle Follow company safety procedures and policies Participate in the on-call rotation schedule Respond to dispatches in a timely manner Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude Represent Elite Plumbing with integrity and professionalism at all times Skills Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, construction plumbing techniques, and pipe threading methods. Experience with welding, schematics reading, HVAC systems, and remodeling projects. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and assembly processes. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe sizing or layout adjustments. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; understanding of schematics related to plumbing layouts. Valid commercial driving license preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites; handyman experience is a plus.
