Full-Time Our Journeyman Plumbers ‍ HPE's team of talented Field Plumbers provide a commitment to quality installation, craftsmanship, professionalism, and safety standards. Accept personal responsibility with regard to assigned tasks as well as the mentoring of apprentices. Consistently promote the policies, principles, and core values of HPE while maintaining schedules, productivity goals, and overall project profitability. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, CAD documents and submittals. Utilize professional knowledge, skills, and experience proficiently in system and product installation. Perform layout activities accurately for system, fixture, and equipment installations. Stay informed with regard to innovative new materials and methods Perform testing of systems for code, specification, and contract compliance. Promptly communicate material and tool projection concerns to Lead/ Site Superintendent Identify and report potential installation problems or concerns Install waste & vent, domestic water fixtures, hydronic piping, mechanical equipment, gas and perform test reports. Strong understanding and knowledge of IPC Code, local jurisdiction Strong understanding and knowledge of IMC Code Enforces a safety focused culture Other duties as assigned ‍
Education, Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 4 years trade specific, commercial construction experience. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Applicable construction standards including system installation methods, procedures, and sequencing. Applicable code, regulation, and certification requirements Typical commercial project scheduling and flow of mechanical activities. Tradetools and equipment used for installations
