Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, the plumbing needs of our residential and light commercial customers. Your plumbing expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction will play a key role in delivering the high-quality service our customers expect. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial plumbing systems Install and replace plumbing fixtures, water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, pumps, and other plumbing components Install, repair, and modify water supply, drain, waste, and vent piping Perform plumbing repairs and installations in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturer specifications Accurately identify plumbing issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and plumbing equipment safely and effectively Test plumbing systems to ensure proper operation and identify leaks or other issues Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company procedures Communicate professionally with customers and clearly explain recommended repairs and solutions Provide outstanding customer service by answering questions and addressing customer concerns Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and professionally Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Qualifications & Skills Proven experience in residential plumbing service and/or installation Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation practices Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment Ability to read and understand plumbing diagrams and technical specifications Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Detail-oriented with good organizational skills Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member Excellent communication and customer service skills Professional appearance and attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to safely lift and handle plumbing equipment and materials Why Join BlueBird?
